An orthopedic surgeon decided to listen to his patients.
Dr. Palo, Founder and Managing Director, found that patients would not do the physical therapy as described on the paper hand-outs he provided at the clinic. Frustratingly, there was not a good tool to teach the exercises to patients or to clearly educate his patients on conditions that they did not need to come to the clinic for. Dr. Palo decided to build something that everyone can use. This initial thought expanded into merging patient education, the automation of physical exams, telemedicine, and post surgical care into an easy to navigate platform.
Dr. Palo is a physicist and Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He has performed more than 5,000 operations including hip, knee, and shoulder replacement procedures, as well as knee and shoulder arthroscopies and hand surgeries. Dr. Palo operates a large orthopaedic practice in the New Orleans greater metropolitan area. He has achieved 99 percentile scores in patient satisfaction and surgical outcomes, and has been selected as a Top Doctor in Covington, Louisiana, as well as spotlighted in The Leading Physicians in the World, a publication that recognizes medicine’s brightest minds.

After graduating with a B.S. degree in math and computer science, Jed Malitz pursued a career in biotechnology information systems (IT) for 25 years. Jed is a highly skilled developer with broad experience in analysis, full stack development, QA and complete lifecycle methodologies. He has built and maintained systems that adhere to compliance regulations with the biotech industry.
Dr. Timothy Devraj is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special focus on partial knee and total knee replacement, shoulder arthroscopy with complex reconstruction and revision surgery, knee arthroscopy, sports medicine, trauma, and hand surgery. As part of the OrthoBistro team, Dr. Devraj will be responsible for content generation for OrthoProConDialog, as well as business plan development.
He brings a depth of experience in multi-specialty group practice and has served in leadership positions throughout his 18-year experience as an orthopaedic surgeon. During his residency, he served as president of the fellows association where he was the representative and liaison between hospital physician and administrative leadership and the 250 resident physicians.
Well respected by his peers, Dr. Devraj is cited as a favorite physician by his patients and his thorough, compassionate and good natured approach to patient care has earned him Top Doc status.
